Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for an Advancement Services and Prospect Research Analyst. The person in this role will work closely with the Director in matters of policy and operations toward shaping a sophisticated Advancement Services program grounded in best practices. The analyst will create, develop, and refine a prospect research program, and provide overall prospect coordination for the entire division. The analyst will serve as an integral member of the Prospect Management Team, keeping abreast of engagement officer activities and the initiatives and programs underway with their prospect pool. The analyst will have the ability to write and edit queries and prepare tailored profile reports as needed/requested by engagement officers. The analyst will maintain a thorough knowledge of all aspects of data entry into the University's database and train/advise staff and students to assist with data entry. The analyst will also support comprehensive fund-raising initiatives and reporting as requested. Finally, the analyst will maintain the professional and ethical standards set forth for the field by the Association of Researchers for Advancement (APRA).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
Two years relevant experience specific to both database management and prospect research.
Proficient working in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
A working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Access, or another programming language.
Knowledge of MS Office programs.
Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SCT Banner or Raiser’s Edge NXT
Work Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm
