The Corporate Security and Safety team is seeking a seasoned Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) professional with expertise in OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations and best practices for managing a comprehensive multi‑facility EH&S program. The Corporate Security and Safety Analyst, Senior – Environment Health and Safety role will report to the Director of Corporate Security and Safety. In this role you will serve as a key partner in ensuring regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and environmental stewardship across our corporate locations. The successful candidate will lead efforts to bring the EH&S program back into full compliance, establish sustainable workflows, and collaborate cross‑functionally with Human Resources and other departments. This is a Short Term Employment opportunity that has the ability to be employed for no longer than 3 years, with the potential for full‑time.

Responsibilities In this role, you will:

Develop and implement BSC's safety and security emergency response training at various BSC sites, including managing evacuation drills at various BSC sites

Meet and collaborate with account managers and vendors on a recurring basis or as needed

Develop, implement, and enforce EH&S policies, procedures, and standards

Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory bodies and develop OSHA‑required training (e.g., hazard communication, PPE, emergency response)

Facilitate fire safety, ergonomics, workplace violence and various other prevention trainings

Organize and lead safety drills (e.g., fire, earthquake, active shooter, chemical spill)

Assist in developing and maintaining Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs)

Coordinate with local emergency services (fire, EMS, law enforcement)

Develop wellness programs to enhance employee health and productivity

Perform regular facility inspections and hazard identification

Qualifications

Requires a college degree or equivalent experience

Requires a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience

Professional certification in physical security and/or safety (PSP, CPP, ASHM, CSHM) preferred but not required

Requires strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA regulations, and industry best practices

Knowledge and/or experience with ergonomics, safety management, and industrial hygiene preferred
