OEM Sales/Account Manager (Hybrid)

We are looking for a full‑time OEM Sales/Account Manager for a global company in the Schaumburg, IL area. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of B2B customer service/inside sales experience in a manufacturing industry and engaging OEM and Tier 1 customers and understand business customers’ needs.
Responsibilities
Maintain relationships with existing client accounts.
Support clients to develop and strengthen customer accounts in the manufacturing industry, ensuring customer satisfaction and service.
Support and manage new and existing customer base through inventory control, handling of customer inquiries, customer complaints and other day‑to‑day business support functions.
Maintain communication with engineers and management for updates on account.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field.
2‑5 years of B2B sales experience in automotive or industrial sales, preferably automotive‑related manufacturing industries.
Proficiency using MS Office Suite and SAP ERP software.
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Physical Demands Intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with assistance, climb stairs, use hands to handle parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. May also need close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
