Job Requirements
Licenses:
Active New Mexico medical license, NM CSR, DEA with NM address
Certifications:
ACLS, PALS (ATLS not required)
Experience:
24 months of recent EM experience; board certified or eligible (ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM only)
Other Qualifications:
3 peer references, department chair reference, immunization records
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide emergency medical care for all presenting patients
Work 24‑hour shifts in a low‑volume ED (~5,550 annual visits)
Collaborate with hospital staff to stabilize and admit patients as needed
Accurately document all patient encounters using Epic EMR
Participate in onboarding activities and adhere to facility protocols
