Automation Tester, Services and API Focus Our client is seeking an Automation Tester, Services and API Focus to join their team! This position is located in Newport Beach, California. Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Duties Build reusable testing libraries/utilities for authentication, OAuth2/JWT, pagination, idempotency, rate limiting, and error handling Define API test strategy and coverage across unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end service tests Validate API contracts against OpenAPI/Swagger and enforce schema and backwards compatibility checks in CI Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, including parallel runs and environment provisioning Desired Skills/Experience 3+ years in QA Automation roles focused on services/APIs Familiarity with Postman, collections, environments, scripts and Newman for CI execution and reporting Strong understanding of HTTP/REST fundamentals, JSON, and API design Experience validating contracts, OpenAPI/Swagger, schema assertions, and compatibility checks Looking for CI/CD experience including configuring pipelines, test reporting, and gating on failures/coverage Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP) 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position starting at $150-160,000+ .
