About The Role Anthropic is seeking an exceptional recruiting leader to build and scale our General & Administrative (G&A) recruiting function during a pivotal period of growth. As Recruiting Manager, G&A, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders across Finance, Legal, People, and Operations to attract world‑class talent that will help us safely scale AI systems that benefit humanity. This role reports to the Head of G&A Recruiting. Responsibilities Build and lead a high‑performing recruiting team focused on Finance (CFO, CAO, Treasury, F&A, Tax) while fostering a culture of excellence. Design and implement comprehensive recruiting strategies at scale, including innovative sourcing programs and structured interview processes. Partner strategically with senior leaders to understand talent requirements and provide guidance on organizational design, compensation trends, and market insights. Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout all recruiting processes and decision‑making. Collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, Compensation, and Recruiting Ops teams to drive meaningful outcomes for the groups you support. Develop and mentor recruiting team members, using data and analytics to continuously optimize strategies and demonstrate recruiting effectiveness. You May Be a Good Fit If Have 10+ years of recruiting experience with at least 5 years in people‑management roles, preferably in high‑growth technology environments. Have experience recruiting across Finance verticals (F&S, Accounting, Tax, Operations, etc.). Demonstrate a systems‑thinking approach to building scalable recruiting processes and operations. Are a strategic partner who can operate effectively with senior leadership while maintaining a hands‑on approach. Excel in hyperscale environments where you can quickly problem‑solve while maintaining thoughtful decision‑making. Bring high emotional intelligence and a collaborative leadership style with low ego. Have proven ability to build diverse, equitable, and inclusive teams. Are skilled at using data and analytics to drive recruiting strategy and demonstrate measurable impact. Show a track record of developing high‑performing recruiting teams and creating cultures of excellence. Can balance strategic thinking about long‑term talent needs with tactical execution in fast‑paced environments. Strong Candidates May Also Have Experience recruiting for AI/ML companies or other highly technical, mission‑driven organizations. Background in scaling recruiting functions through multiple stages of company growth. Compensation Annual Salary $230,000 - $295,000 USD Benefits Competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
