Overnight Veterinary Receptionist Job at BluePearl in Mount Pleasant

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an extraordinary Overnight Veterinary Receptionist in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.50 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience, licensure, and advancement through our leveling system.

Availability: Overnight shifts from 6pm to 6am, including weekends and holidays, are required.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet clients warmly and make friendly eye contact upon entry.
2. Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
3. Be a compassionate listener and speak clearly and calmly in person and on the phone.
4. Assess clients' needs and pet conditions upon arrival, determining emergency status.
5. Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
6. Confirm all appointments in advance and provide clients with accurate preparation information.
7. Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
8. Serve as a liaison during pet remains handling, ensuring a complete and compassionate process.
