We are seeking a Manager of Network Rack Engineering to lead a team of talented engineers to investigate and resolve issues from manufacturing sites across the world. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a strong technical background and proven experience in server and network hardware integration and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of 6-8 hardware engineers focused on New Product Introduction of Network racks from design concept to mass production
- Drive end-to-end project execution from design review, BOM analysis, hardware validation to mass production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FSE, TPM, TAM, PE, QA, ME, Operations) and external partners to meet customer requirements and SLA
- Support engineering prototype builds and production ramp-up, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Lead network rack sustaining support to resolve production issues, improving manufacturability, and ensuring product specifications are met.
- Oversee engineering support for existing and legacy products to maintain functionality and performance.
- Review and approve engineering changes (ECO, RCO) to enhance product quality and address issues.
- Manage and resolve customer-reported issues through a ticketing system within defined SLAs.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production and field issues.
- Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 8+ years of experience in Rack hardware development, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Technical Skills
- Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
- Deep understanding of rack architecture and industry standards (TOR, MOR, Power shelf, busbar, Inverter, PDU, PDB, PSU, Ethernet, InfiniBand, Transceivers, Optical and copper cables).
- Experience with network and compute rack design, integration, validation, and mass production in CM/ODM environments.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and Copilot.
Leadership & Communication
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills, including technical presentations and joint debugging sessions.
- Experience mentoring and developing engineers across diverse skill levels and backgrounds.
- Exceptional organizational and program management skills to manage deliverables and dependencies.

Salary: $160,000-$180,000K
