Position Title
Human Resources Coordinator at Clayton.
Position Summary
Serve as the face of Human Resources for all initial concerns at the assigned plant. Ensure accuracy of Workday data and timely collection of weekly payroll data. Provide administrative support for TMX initiatives and advance special TMX projects as assigned.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for HR‑related team member questions.
- Operate as a site‑level resource for Workday items such as Time & Attendance, Benefits, or personal information changes; ensure accurate and timely review and submission of timekeeping and payroll documents for weekly payments.
- Review and submit all data related to new hires, terminations, transfers, and rate changes, confirming accuracy.
- Support team members with payroll matters: resolve questions on vacation, holiday, direct deposit, garnishments, employment verification, workers’ compensation, retroactive pay, tax questions, and other changes.
- Administer benefits queries and coordinate/resolve issues including day‑to‑day administration and the annual benefits enrollment process.
- Provide responses or interpretation for policy questions and assist with revisions or communications for policies, job descriptions, or other documentation for TMX programs.
- Run daily production, direct OT reports, serve as backup to the TMX Manager in updating, auditing, and generating reports.
- Assist in internal and external hourly recruiting processes from outreach through onboarding, including scheduling interviews, pre‑employment physicals, and new team member orientation.
- Coordinate site initiatives and activities such as trainings, celebrations, VTO, or deployment of corporate initiatives (Wellbeing, etc.).
- Assist the TMX Manager with projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 4 years of HR education or experience.
- Preferred 5 years of experience in HR, payroll, or an HR degree.
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
- Trustworthy and capable of handling highly confidential information.
- Detail‑oriented and organized.
- Able to adhere to tight deadlines.
- Effective and constructive communication skills at all levels.
- Knowledge of HR legal and relational components.
Physical Demands
- Consistent computer operation and use of office machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, printer, etc.
- Communicate via phone, email, and in person; exchange accurate information with others.
- Work primarily in an indoor, temperature‑controlled, sealed‑window office environment.
- Work requires sitting/standing.
