About GG’s Chicken Shop

GG’s Chicken Shop serves rotisserie chicken, sandwiches, salads and classic side dishes. The restaurant is opening soon and is looking for enthusiastic cashiers to provide excellent customer service.

Base Pay Range

$20.00/hr – $26.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience)

Responsibilities

• Stock bar and dining area according to prescribed pars; communicate ordering needs to management.
• Follow steps of service to provide a quality guest dining experience.
• Assist in bagging and packaging preparations.
• Demonstrate genuine warmth in welcoming guests.
• Ring all food and beverage items accurately to ensure proper flow of service.
• Handle all guest payments accurately.
• Check identification of guests purchasing alcohol to BRG standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring proper sanitation standards.
• Audit and balance cash and credit card receipts as part of daily checkout procedures.
• Complete opening, mid‑shift and closing procedures in a timely manner.
• Display a sense of urgency to maintain proper service flow.
• Meet all guest allergy requirements rigorously.
• Assist leads and managers with additional tasks such as clearing tables and maintaining common areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
• QSR experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Polished, professional, warm and hospitable demeanor.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 10 lb; frequently lift up to 25 lb; occasionally lift up to 50 lb.
• Safely use all necessary tools, equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Stand and walk throughout the shift, including stairs and uneven surfaces.
• Ability to tolerate hot and cold environments.
