PC Server & Parts is hiring: Accounting Analyst in Detroit

Overview

The Accounting Analyst will play a key role in managing the Accounts Receivable (AR) functions for our B2B operations. This includes creating invoices, managing customer accounts, following up on outstanding balances, and ensuring accurate and timely AR reporting. In addition to AR responsibilities, the analyst will assist with general accounting functions including journal entries and month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and send invoices for B2B customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past due balances.
• Establish and maintain new customer accounts in the accounting system.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to billing and payment status.
• Reconcile AR transactions and assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Support month-end close activities, including preparation of adjusting journal entries.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and assist with accounting projects as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Operations, Customer Service) to ensure accurate and complete financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This position is 100% on-site at our office in New Hudson, Michigan.

• Standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
