The Role You'll Contribute

• Provides direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the acute care, inpatient and/or outpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Utilizes process improvement to achieve Rehabilitation Department goals.
• Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state and federal regulations and accrediting bodies.
• May supervise other Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, volunteers, technical aides and interns.
• Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all.

The Value You'll Bring To The Team

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations, develops, implements and adapts an individualized treatment plan of care with goals and frequency; discharges when maximum benefit is achieved or per standards and payer guidelines.
• Documents accurately and timely with objective terminology per standards of practice and policy.
• Charges patients accurately and timely according to CPT and insurance guidelines.
• Identifies patient/caregiver education needs and provides instruction; documents education and understanding at discharge as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy
• AOTA - Occupational Therapy Licensed in the State of Florida
• BCLS - Basic Life Support
