Job Overview

We are seeking reliable delivery drivers or "runners" to join our team. The delivery driver will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner to customers' locations.

Duties

• Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle
• Drive vehicles to designated destinations for customer deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Utilize a hand truck (dolly) to handle heavy loads
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding delivery schedules (including phone calls and in-person)
• Utilize box trucks or vans for transportation
• Perform heavy lifting as required in the delivery process in a safe and healthy way.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws

Runners assist the driver in these functions and must also communicate well with the larger team, FedEx staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. No experience is required, but preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and planning on a personal and interpersonal level
• Be organized and able to follow map directions

Pay: From $160.00 per day for a driver and $125 per day for a runner
