Senior Machine Learning Engineer I

Salary $183,000 - $216,000 USD yearly
Responsibilities
Work closely with applied scientists, data scientists, product managers, and designers to set the future technical direction of the recommendation system.
Engage in development work on projects, guide the team in technical decisions, deeply understand the problem space, and mentor engineers.
Collaborate with stakeholders and partner teams to design robust end‑to‑end solutions.
Process large datasets and develop scalable pipelines to support ML workflows.
Prototype, optimize, and productionize large‑scale ML models that help deliver key results.
Conduct experiments (A/B testing, etc.) to validate the effectiveness of ML models and pipelines.
Qualifications
Experience applying machine learning techniques to real‑world problems.
Experience in deep learning, multi‑modal learning, NLP, graph learning, distributed training/serving, or ML infra platform.
Experience with large datasets and developing scalable data pipelines.
Deep familiarity with at least some of the following tools: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark, PySpark, Scala, Airflow.
Collaborative mindset and comfort working with diverse roles and departments.
Ability to write understandable, testable code that is maintainable at large scale.
A degree in Computer Science or related field with at least two years of industry experience.
