Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA) - Abdominal Imaging
The Department of Abdominal Imaging, Division of Diagnostic Imaging, at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center invites applications for a full-time, clinical faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Responsibilities
Delivering excellent, comprehensive and compassionate care for patients;
Providing multimodality abdominal imaging expertise, including oncology-focused CT, MRI, inpatient/intra-operative and outpatient ultrasonography and ultrasound-guided biopsies, fluoroscopy, radiography and other radiologic procedures;
Educating medical students, residents and fellows;
Developing academic and scholarly programs and projects to advance an understanding of cancer;
Fostering interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to clinical care, research and education.
Qualifications Qualified candidates must have a medical degree, board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Radiology, licensure by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, certification in BLS or ACLS, and post-residency fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging. Prior research experience and publications in Abdominal Imaging are highly desirable.
