Tidewater Youth Services Commission is looking to hire a Weekend Counselor as a part of community monitoring program.
Responsibilities
Assigned a case load of up to 10 clients to monitor digitally and in-person per weekend.
Carry agency phone and respond to all alerts from Friday 5:00pm - Monday 9:00am.
In-person visits Saturday mornings for assigned families of delinquent youth in their home.
Travel in own vehicle required but mileage is reimbursed.
Providing assistance; modeling behaviors; reinforcing positive actions.
Prepares records of client visits, progress, and case notes.
Responds to emergencies and crisis interventions as needed.
Establishes working relationships with families, court personnel, referral agencies, and other service providers.
