McGraw Kokosing is a leading MEP and industrial maintenance contractor based in Middletown, OH. We provide engineering, electrical, instrumentation, structural steel erection, rigging, and equipment setting services across industries such as steel, power, oil and gas, data center, and food & beverage. Our portfolio includes planned plant outages, emergency maintenance, and capital improvement projects for new and existing facilities.
Position: Electrical Project Engineer Location: Upper Sandusky, OH 2 weeks ago (or specify city). Salary: $110,000 - $140,000. Full‑time.
Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering for large‑scale industrial construction projects from pre‑construction through final acceptance, ensuring project safety, quality, budget, schedule, and job controls.
Manage project engineering functions: planning, procurement, design review, project controls, and work assignments.
Prepare vendor quotes for materials, equipment, and specialty items; track material deliveries.
Interface with departments, divisions, and internal staff on budgeting, staffing, discipline, training, scheduling and other activities.
Review engineering plans and vendor submittals; monitor crew assignments for productivity.
Conduct field walks and spot checks to verify work quality and compliance with county, state, and OSHA policies.
Qualifications
2+ years experience as a construction Project Engineer (similar role).
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
Strong safety orientation and ability to apply safety laws, company policies, and standards.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
Ability to interpret drawings, work specifications, and work scopes.
