inpatient role

4-10 Hour Days

Opportunity Requirements

Providing medical care as an independent licensed practitioner

Prescribing or recommending medications for patients, consulting with physicians as appropriate

Ordering diagnostic tests and demonstrating appropriate application of the results to assess and treat patients’ clinical conditions and healthcare needs

Collaborating with cardiologists to treat cardiac diagnoses and manage acute and chronic cardiac issues

Rounding on an inpatient service and providing consultative services in conjunction with the Cardiologist

Call includes the occasional weekend

Successful Candidate Will

Be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program

Have valid and active NP/PA licensure in Tennessee

Have current AHA, ACLS and BLS
