Responsibilities : Proactively build and maintain relationships with NAVEX's customers in the midmarket space to create new business opportunities through cross-sell and upsell, presenting the value of our integrated platform of risk and compliance management solutions and services.
Leverage prospecting techniques and resources to navigate buying groups across different functions and identify opportunities within your defined territory while nurturing relationships to drive interest and advance sales goals.
Deliver persuasive presentations and SaaS demonstrations by illustrating actual business scenarios to key decision makers with industry and product knowledge.
Identify and meet customer needs with strong discovery and consultative value selling.
Develop and prioritize a pipeline beyond what is needed to achieve sales goals, and accurately forecast sales.
Attend initial in-person training and ongoing virtual product trainings to stay well informed on industry trends and NAVEX solutions.
Achieve sales quotas through negotiation and closing of opportunities.
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing or related field preferred.
4+ years of successful B2B sales experience targeting midmarket organizations (1,000+ employees).
Experience selling SaaS-based solutions.
Familiarity with value selling, strategic selling, and best practice models such as Miller Heiman, Solution Selling, SPIN or Challenger.
A passion for learning—the risk and compliance space is rapidly evolving.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to earn trust and build relationships.
Strong prospecting, planning, organizational and time management skills; ability to work in a dynamic environment with ambiguity.
Technical ability to be proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office products.
Ability to identify and improve processes and operations.
Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to collaborate across levels and diverse backgrounds.
Ability to drive results through sales engagement, product and industry knowledge, and sales process.
Ability to align with NAVEX core competencies: accountability, customer focus, drives results, and instills trust.
Our side of the deal
We believe everyone deserves to see their path forward and the steps to achieve career and financial goals. Each team member is required to have a career plan in place and reviewed with their manager after six months.
The starting pay for this role is $85,000 per annum with a target variable pay of $85,000, based on individual achievement factors and not guaranteed.
Pay progression is based on performance.
