Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – The Menta Education Group
As an SLPA at The Menta Education Group, you will work with students to provide speech-language assistance in accordance with their IEPs. Your caseload will span early childhood to age 22, and you will work within a 10‑month school calendar from 7:30 am to 3 pm, Monday‑Friday.
Responsibilities
Supervise students, in groups and individually, monitoring behavior to ensure alignment with programmatic expectations.
Provide educational direction and support for students during times of confusion, frustration, and emotional upset.
Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for student caseloads.
Deliver speech‑language related service minutes as dictated by the IEP.
Maintain accurate related‑service logs, updated weekly.
Qualifications
Licensed in Illinois as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
Strong organizational skills and ability to build rapport with students.
Experience navigating school‑based therapy smoothly.
