We focus on the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, as well as injury prevention.
What You Will Do As An Athletic Trainer
Coordinate prevention, assessment, treatment (including first aid), rehabilitation and reconditioning of injuries as set forth by the NATA Board of certification
Provide all prescribed treatments and recommendations by attending physician
Communicate optimally with patients and other members of the healthcare team
Act as a liaison between the patient being treated and the attending physician
Complete appropriate continuing education to maintain license and certification(s)
What You Will Need
Board certified (BOC) with an active Minnesota State Athletic Training License
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience in an athletic training setting preferred
Location M Health Fairview Clinic and Surgery Center - 909 Fulton St. SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455
Hours 40 hours/week
