Regional Clinical Pharmacy Director

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up to date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare employees to meet state‑specific licensing requirements.
Responsibilities
Review and document the accuracy of prescription drugs received from the dispensing pharmacy.
Execute quality assurance checks and document that prescriptions are filled correctly.
Serve as a liaison between the dispensing pharmacy and the ADCCR.
Identify and implement roles for inventory coordinators and pharmacy technicians.
Establish continuous quality improvement initiatives and participate in P&T meetings.
Maintain consistent contact with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing, regional site administration, and client partners to communicate pharmaceutical needs of all patients.
Ensure seamless operation of pharmacy services.
Serve as an integral leadership role as HCV Committee member, addressing pharmacy‑related issues related to HIV, HCV, HBV, mental health, diabetes, and asthma.
Ensure health plans and daily operations comply with policies, procedures, and standards.
Maintain accurate and updated records of pharmacy services, therapy reports, and pertinent information.
Conduct thorough monthly and quarterly audits of facilities to ensure proper handling of prescription medication and compliance with state/federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
Unrestricted Pharmacy License in AZ.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy experience; management of pharmacy operations preferred.
Valid CPR or equivalent certificate.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills.
