About the Role
The Sales Development Representative is a proactive, driven, and commercially minded sales leader responsible for generating net‑new revenue and expanding InRhythm’s presence in enterprise financial services. This is a hunter‑first role (80% focus on new business acquisition), targeting senior executives across enterprise financial services, including banking, payments, investment and fintech firms. The Sales Executive role is designed for ambitious sellers who thrive on hunting, building pipeline, and progressing opportunities.
This is a hunter‑first role (70% focus on new business acquisition), targeting senior executives across banking, payments, investment, and fintech. You’ll be accountable for building a healthy pipeline, running discovery conversations, shaping early‑stage solutions, and closing mid‑size opportunities while collaborating with senior leaders on larger, strategic deals.

Hunting & Pipeline Creation (Primary – 70%)
Build and execute outbound prospecting campaigns to acquire new logos within enterprise financial services (WAM, payments, banking, PE‑backed firms).
Book, qualify, and advance meetings with C‑suite and senior technology leaders (CIO, CTO, VPs of Engineering).
Drive full‑cycle sales: prospecting, ideation, qualification, discovery, solutioning, proposal/SOW, negotiation contract close, and transition to delivery.
Maintain a disciplined pipeline in Salesforce with 3–4x coverage of quota.
Collaborate with marketing on ABM campaigns and thought leadership initiatives to accelerate lead conversion.
Mid‑Cycle Engagement (Secondary – 20%)
Run discovery sessions and map client needs to InRhythm’s consulting offerings.
Collaborate with solutions architects and practice leads on proposals and SOWs.
Support leaders in structuring and positioning large, complex opportunities.
Manage executive relationships in a select portfolio of existing accounts; ensure smooth handoffs.
Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities by mapping client organizations, uncovering new use cases, and ensuring strategic alignment.
Solution Consulting & Deal Structuring
Lead consultative, solution‑based sales by aligning InRhythm’s services to client objectives.
Collaborate with practice leads and solutions architects to shape proposals and SOWs that reflect business value, outcomes, and pricing discipline.
Maintain daily CRM discipline in Salesforce: deal stages, contacts, forecasts, and activity tracking.
Maintain and champion operational excellence in sales processes and playbooks.
Partner cross‑functionally with delivery, marketing, and talent acquisition to ensure capacity alignment with pipeline growth.
What We’re Looking For
5–7+ years of enterprise hunting experience in financial services technology consulting or IT services.
Expertise in solution discovery and value‑based selling for services‑only engagements (no products).
Deep understanding of financial services vertical and regulatory environments.
Strong discovery, qualification, and consultative sales skills.
Strong executive presence with the ability to build credibility and influence at the C‑level.
Entrepreneurial drive, resilience, and persistence in hunting environments.
Salesforce proficiency and disciplined pipeline management skills.
What Success Looks Like
Build a qualified pipeline covering 3–4x quota within first 90 days.
Close new logos contributing to target net‑new revenue quota within 12–18 months.
Deliver accurate monthly forecasts with strong stage‑based progression.
Successfully transition executive relationships from senior leadership while growing breadth and depth of client engagement.
