The
Account Manager, Extended Care
role is about making an impact on people's health and well‑being every single day. As a part of the greater Advanced Wound Management (AWM) team, you will call on nursing homes, long‑term care and specialty pharmacies to provide key brands Santyl, Regranex and other products for all types of wound injuries on patients.

What you’ll be doing
Generate a territory plan of action to attain and achieve territory sales goals utilizing excellent sales skills, territory management skills and customer relationships.
Educate end users on the clinical benefits of Smith & Nephew products.
Deliver sales presentations to key customers and customer groups, and conduct product lunches and dinners for identified customer groups.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision‑makers and thought leaders.
What you need to be successful
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years B2B, direct‑selling or medical sales experience, preferably within the nursing home or long‑term care setting.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Proven track record of effectively presenting key concepts and recommendations to customers in formal and informal settings.
Strong analytical skills, including pipeline management, territory analysis and territory management. Proven success with a complex sales process.
Experience selling in an environment with multiple call points and decision makers within an account.
Professional training program experience (e.g., Challenger Selling).
All field sales professionals who are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with the requirements of those facilities they support, which can include adherence to any established vaccine protocols.
