Sr. Procurement Manager - Electrical (Baltimore)

A design-build and systems integration firm is seeking a Sr. Procurement Manager to join their team out of their Baltimore, MD location. Role: Sr. Procurement Manager Location: Baltimore, MD - fully on-site, no hybrid accommodations. Job Description: Act as liaison between Procurement and internal teams (Execs, Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing). Lead procurement planning during bidding and execution phases. Develop and manage Procurement Plans, RFPs/RFQs, and vendor prequalification. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors. Track quotes, analyze bids, and maintain a Quotes Matrix. Ensure timely procurement-goal: 80% of orders placed by 20% project completion. Monitor deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and close out procurement packages. Incorporate market intelligence (pricing, lead times, alternatives) into planning. Support long-term agreements and category consolidation. Requirements: Procurement experience do you have within power distribution equipment, conduit, wire, connectors, hardware, steel, copper, devices, video monitoring, intrusion detection, access control, audio visual. Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 10 - 12 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Relevant purchasing experience sourcing, negotiating contracts with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), construction /specialty trade subcontractors and fabricators
