The position covers bases in Cottage Grove, Salem, Newport & Aurora, Oregon and Kelso, Washington.
Base pay range $109,702.32/yr – $139,644.96/yr
Responsibilities The Float Rotor Wing Pilot is responsible for professionally and safely operating aircraft for LFN, performing pre‑ and post‑flight inspections, planning flights, assisting in loading passengers, baggage and cargo, analyzing weather conditions, maintaining logs and records, and operating ground handling equipment.
Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or equivalent (required)
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
5 years’ experience as a professional pilot (preferred)
2000 Total Hours (required)
1500 hours as Pilot in Command (required)
1000 hours R/W Turbine time (required)
100 hours instrument time (preferred)
75 Instrument hours total – at least 50 in aircraft instrument time (required)
100 hours of unaided nighttime (required)
Air‑medical transportation experience (preferred)
NVG experience (preferred)
Mountain experience (preferred)
FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Helicopter Rating (required)
FAA second‑class flight physical (required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent grammar and customer‑service communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile with insurance (required)
