Electrical Reliability Engineer
Corpus Christi, TX (Embedded in plant)
Base Pay Range $60.00/hr - $90.00/hr
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Predictive Maintenance: Implementing strategies to anticipate and prevent equipment failures before they occur, often using data analysis and monitoring techniques.
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM): Developing and refining maintenance plans based on the criticality and failure modes of electrical assets.
Data Analysis: Analyzing equipment performance data, identifying trends, and predicting potential issues.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigating failures to determine the underlying causes and prevent recurrence.
Asset Management: Managing the lifecycle of electrical assets, including their maintenance, upgrades, and replacement.
Troubleshooting: Assisting with troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues, often in collaboration with maintenance teams.
System Optimization: Identifying opportunities to improve the performance and efficiency of electrical systems.
Monitoring Automation: Developing and enhancing automated monitoring systems to track equipment health and performance.
Compliance: Ensuring that electrical systems and maintenance practices comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Requirements
10+ Years of Experience
BS in Electrical Engineering
Experience with Electrical Reliability duties listed above
Professional License (Electrical) in the state of Texas is a plus
Strong experience with ETAP or SKM Electrical Power System Analysis software is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivating, self-managing individual
Working Conditions
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Overtime: Occasionally (Straight time rate)
Range: Permanent
Travel: Up to 10%
