OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE Reports To: EVP, Sales and Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY Vero Fiber is focused on becoming a market leader in the fiber to the premise industry and this position will directly impact the Company’s overall success. Your goal will be to help connect people and communities by offering best-in-class internet services through door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary driver of new revenue for the Company by actively engaging in prospecting and sales activities.

Acquire new residential customers through door-to-door contact from assigned leads.

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Provide knowledge of and sell Vero Fiber services to customers.

Develop a deep understanding and stay current on all Company product offerings and align the correct offering with the customer based on their need.

Work with marketing, business development, and operational teams to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with marketing campaigns and new market expansions.

Track sales activity and ensure accurate information is gathered to enable various KPIs and reporting that are regularly analyzed by management or other departments.

Participate in sales strategies such as marketing campaigns, community events or conferences that result in increasing market share.

Support team and team goals by actively participating in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned.

Complete all administrative tasks related to products sold in accordance with department practice, policies, and procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Sales experience a plus, but all that is required is a willingness to learn and grow.

Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language; Spanish a plus.

Engaging interpersonal skills.

A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and use of a reliable personal vehicle.

Ability to work independently.

JOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Spend approximately 90% of the time in an outside environment for extended periods in any season, with potential exposure to inclement weather.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Requires extensive travel to fulfill core duties of the role.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday during normal business hours.

Position is based in the Oregon market.

This is an Exempt position and a staff position.

This position requires the ability to pass a standard background check upon offer of position. Must obtain a permit for door‑to‑door sales in the assigned locality. At least 2 professional references are required.

PRE‑EMPLOYMENT SCREENING REQUIREMENT FOR THIS SAFETY‑SENSITIVE ROLE All offers of employment are contingent upon candidates successfully completing a pre‑employment drug screen in compliance with company policy.
