About The Role Reporting to the Head of Partner Programs and Strategy, the Partner Operations Lead will be responsible for building and managing the operational infrastructure and processes that powers Anthropic's partnerships. This role will own the systems, processes, and tools that enable scalable partner engagement across cloud partners, systems integrators, and resellers. You will serve as the central operational hub for partner programs, working cross‑functionally with RevOps, Sales, Enablement, Legal, and Finance to ensure seamless partner processes and operations.
Responsibilities
Manage partner portal and scaled partner tools: develop business requirements, diligence, and collaborate with RevOps and other stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Sales) to implement and maintain partner tools.
Cross‑functional collaboration: work closely with Partner Managers, Enablement, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Product teams to ensure operational alignment and support for partner initiatives.
Scope and implement new partner processes: stand up operational processes from 0 to 1 as partner programs evolve, including designing workflows, documentation, and system requirements for emerging partnership needs.
Define and maintain global partner tiers: develop and implement partner tiers for all global partners; define and manage processes to administer benefits across segments at scale via the partner portal.
Manage funding programs: design and maintain partner funding and credit programs to accelerate sales through partners; maintain allocation and usage tracking.
Design and improve partner onboarding: work with key stakeholders to design and improve partner onboarding via the partner portal, including documentation, training materials, system access provisioning, and milestone tracking.
Develop and optimize lead registration processes: develop processes and manage systems for partners to register leads and deals across all partner types.
Develop reseller processes: scope and implement systems for reseller payment processing and operational support, including automated commission calculations, revenue‑share distributions, and proper compliance and attribution tracking.
You May Be a Good Fit If You
3–5+ years of experience in business operations, partner operations, channel programs, product operations, or related operational roles in AI, enterprise software or technology companies.
2+ years in management consulting or investment banks.
Strong expertise with Salesforce administration and customization.
Experience building and operating a partner portal.
Demonstrated experience building and directing partner program operations.
Experience in data analysis tools and reporting platforms (Hex, Looker, or similar).
Strong project management abilities with experience influencing cross‑functional operational initiatives.
Analytical mindset with ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
[Preferred] Experience with deal registration systems, partner relationship management (PRM) platforms, and commission management tools.
[Preferred] Experience with partner program design, including tier structures, benefits administration, and performance metrics.
[Preferred] Previous experience in AI/ML or emerging technology companies.
Base Compensation Annual Salary: $170,000 – $215,000 USD. Total compensation includes equity, benefits, and may include incentive compensation.
Logistics
Education requirements: at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Location-based hybrid policy: staff expected to be in one of our offices at least 25 % of the time; some roles may require more office presence.
