CEXEC, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Accounting Technician II supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Financial Services team assists with requirements gathering, financial reporting and analytics, staffing reports, and ad‑hoc analyses. The role also involves reviewing and approving organizational spend plans submitted by FAA lines of business and staff offices.
Responsibilities
Supports accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements, and running software programs.
Maintains accounting records by filing documents and making copies.
Reconciles financial statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer and processing backups.
Verifies financial reports by running performance analysis software.
Determines value of depreciable assets by running depreciation software.
Requires proficiency with accounting applications (e.g., Delphi) and accounting principles.
Ensures focus on reimbursable accounting.
Has performed financial statement audits, financial data analytics, and financial system audits.
Education & Experience
Government contracting experience a plus.
Associate’s Degree in a related field.
3 – 10 years’ experience.
Travel 0-5% (Negligible)
Salary & Benefits Salary range: $39,170 to $120,806 (annualized USD). The total compensation includes monetary and non‑monetary benefits.
