The Role
Palantir’s in-house legal team works to proactively address legal issues and enable the growth of our business so that Palantir can continue to drive positive impact in the world. As a Procurement Contract Specialist on the legal team, you will provide critical support by owning the drafting and negotiating of inbound and outbound contracts with vendors. You will be responsible for contract authoring, redlining, negotiating, and closeout, working closely with the legal team’s Procurement Counsel. You are a motivated self-starter managing most of the contract lifecycle and collaborating with stakeholders within the legal team and across Palantir to secure optimal outcomes.
Our ideal candidate proactively streamlines contracting and negotiating processes while maintaining meticulous organization to handle a high volume of agreements. We seek a service-oriented individual who enjoys cross-functional collaboration and aims to leverage technology and workflows to increase efficiency.
Core Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, service and license agreements, subcontractor agreements, and teaming agreements, under the guidance of Palantir’s legal team. Act as a liaison between the business, the Procurement team, and Procurement Counsel to manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle for all vendor agreements. Serve as the first point of contact for contract-related requests, inbound contract inquiries, and non-standard terms. Work with Procurement Counsel to develop and maintain internal processes that empower the business while minimizing legal and commercial risks. Manage Palantir’s contract repositories and ensure proper documentation. Collaborate with business units and regulators to demonstrate compliance with procurement laws and regulations. What We Value Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing contractual agreements, including SaaS, goods, and services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build cross-functional relationships globally. Experience with data privacy and information security agreements. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Proactive attitude and willingness to tackle tasks to ensure efficiency under pressure. Technical proficiency with contract management tools and process improvement. What We Require At least 3 years of end-to-end contract negotiation experience in a fast-paced setting. Experience with contract lifecycle management systems, including procure-to-pay platforms. Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000/year, potentially including RSUs, sign-on bonuses, and other incentives. Total compensation will depend on individual qualifications, experience, and skills. This estimate excludes benefits and long-term incentives.
