Project Leader - Real Estate Process and Strategy
This is a strategic, high-impact role at the intersection of finance, technology, and real estate. You’ll help shape the future of how we manage and optimize our property portfolio—driving innovation through data-driven solutions and bridging financial strategy with emerging technologies. This role will lead process improvement and operational efficiency across Real Estate, Construction, and Property Management teams, integrating AI and automation into key workflows to standardize data, optimize dashboards, and minimize manual errors.
Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional initiatives to automate and streamline real estate operations using AI tools and platforms.
Design and implement AI-enhanced dashboards that reduce duplicative work and improve reporting accuracy.
Collaborate with data science, finance, and property teams to identify automation opportunities and deploy AI solutions.
Champion the use of generative AI for summarizing lease documents, forecasting models, and scenario planning.
Ensure ethical and secure AI deployment aligned with enterprise governance standards.
Monitor and measure the impact of AI implementations on business outcomes and operational KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
40% PROJECT CONTROL - Develops an effective plan for controlling project scope, schedule and cost, and monitors project execution to ensure that the plan is being followed. Creates and coordinates documentation to explain changes to the baseline and ensures approved changes are implemented.
30% PROJECT COMMUNICATIONS - Develops plans for communicating project information to the project team and stakeholders. Produces status reports and scorecards and creates/presents project review documents to senior leadership.
10% PROJECT RISK ASSESSMENT - Defines project risks and mitigation approaches. Monitors activities for risks and escalates or mitigates as needed. Advises team and stakeholders on actions required.
10% PROJECT LESSONS LEARNED - Captures and shares key lessons learned at project completion and applies them to future projects.
10% PROJECT ENVIRONMENT - Supports a good working environment, ensuring adequate staffing and clear roles and an inclusive culture.
Direct Manager / Direct Reports
Reports to Director Finance.
This role has no direct reports.
Travel Requirements
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with occasional movement; lifting light articles may be required on rare occasions.
Working Conditions
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, or Power Platform AI integrations.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and lead cross-functional teams.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Expert experience with writing complex SQL queries.
Experience with data visualization using Tableau.
Experience with data visualization and developing dashboards.
Experience in MS Excel.
Working knowledge of analytical/statistics software (eg, SPSS, SAS, R, Stata).
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Education
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
