Job Overview Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center has an immediate need for a full-time Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech. The facility is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and focuses on offering a high quality, service-oriented environment for surgical procedures.
Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, and establishing and maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.
Schedule & Work Hours
Monday-Friday work schedule
No call required
No nights, no weekends, no holidays work hours

Required Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program. Certification or Surgical Technician training from the military is required.
2+ years Surgical Technician experience. Orthopedic experience preferred.
Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
