Software Test Engineer

Qualifications Must be able to work on-site in our Mountain View, CA office.

We do not offer work authorization sponsorships or Visas, also no corp-to-corp.

BSEE, or BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

5+ years experience in Python and OOP programming

5+ years experience in automated hardware test development and execution

3+ years experience in Linux systems and networking

Experience with automated test equipment (power supplies, DMMs, eLoads, oscilloscopes, etc.)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience in log and data analysis, dashboard creation, and data pipelines

Experience with version control systems such as Git

Familiarity with hardware design validation (DV) testing and electronics validation

Ability to troubleshoot, root cause, and solve issues in automated test campaigns

Responsibilities

Construct and modify test plans for automated electronics hardware design validation (DV) testing

Integrate test plans, test logic, and test hardware to enable long-running automated testing campaigns

Troubleshoot, root cause, and solve issues as they arise in DV test campaigns

Modify existing test software in response to emergent needs related to test execution or troubleshooting

Support test automation framework including test deployment, sequencing, logging, results, and data visualization
