Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician
and play a crucial role in preparing life-changing sterile medications. You will be essential in producing large-volume batches (up to 250 vials per run) in a cleanroom, ensuring every product meets the highest safety and regulatory standards.
What You'll Do: Precision Production:
Prepare sterile compounded medications, including powders, liquids, or injections, following approved formulas, compounding logs, and strict aseptic technique. Quality & Compliance:
Maintain full compliance with
USP
standards and all applicable state/federal regulations. This includes performing and documenting cleaning, environmental monitoring, and proper gowning. Operational Excellence:
Accurately label, package, and document finished products, ensuring detailed records of lot numbers and expiration dates are maintained. Team Collaboration:
Work efficiently with the pharmacy team in the intravenous cleanroom suite to achieve daily production goals and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.
What You'll Need: Licensure:
Active pharmacy technician license/registration in the state of practice. Experience (Preferred):
1+ year of sterile compounding experience, with
USP
Category 3
experience being desirable. Core Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a regulated environment while wearing full cleanroom PPE.
