Responsibilities
Conduct tax interviews face to face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
Prepare complete and accurate individual, trust, partnership, and other tax returns.
Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
Provide clients with IRS support and deliver tax notice services.
Represent clients in audit situations where authorized.
Mentor and support teammates.
Successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment using virtual tools.
Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
Meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
Experience completing complex individual, trust, and partnership returns.
5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
Experience with tax planning and audit support.
Sales and/or marketing experience.
High school diploma, equivalent or higher.

Pay Range $11.00 – $80.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive compensation plans.
