The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area, providing essential services such as transportation, wastewater collection and treatment, community growth and development, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.
The
Workforce Development Lead
coordinates program administration efforts with minimal oversight, ensures program objectives are met, and provides work direction to workforce development coordinators.
This position is eligible for a hybrid (remote and onsite) teleworking arrangement. Staff are required to work approximately 50 weekday nights per year both in person and virtually.
Eligibility: Any combination of completed education in human resources, human services, communication, training, education, or a related field, and experience delivering multi-step, long-term training programs and working with frontline technical career development positions:
High school diploma/GED with seven or more years of experience
Associate degree with five or more years of experience
Bachelor's or higher degree with three or more years of experience
Salary Range:
$79,580.80 – $129,064.00 Annually
