Cyber Security Engineer
Join us as a Cyber Security Engineer to plan, design, develop, validate, and verify cyber solutions across the lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Apply interdisciplinary collaboration to plan, design, develop, validate, and verify cyber solutions.
Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and mitigation solution analysis.
Coordinate and address supply chain risk management concerns.
Develop, evaluate, and analyze design constraints, trade‑offs, and detailed system and security designs for the cyber domain.
Coordinate with cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight of solution development.
Conduct cybersecurity testing and evaluation of hardware and software designs to verify compliance with specifications.
Employ cybersecurity processes, methods, techniques, and tools; ensure consistent application.
Implement appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity or equivalent work experience.
Understanding of cybersecurity analysis, application, and implementation.
Understanding of Systems Engineering, Systems Design, and Systems Development Life Cycle.
Possession or ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance.
Desired Skills
Understanding of the SDLC, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations applicable to space and ground systems.
Motivated self‑starter with strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce complex technical reports.
Experience with secure configuration/hardening of DoD information systems.
Experience with threat modeling, preferably classified cyber threat intel support.
Knowledge of NIST 800‑53.
DoD 8570 IAT I certification.
Intuitive and proactive self‑starter that is accountable and mission focused.
