What you’ll do The Quality System Manager position is responsible for creating and implementing a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with industry standards and company requirements. The role manages the relationship between the site and its suppliers, with a primary focus on ensuring the quality of incoming materials. It oversees the development of quality systems including internal document management systems, driving continuous improvement and compliance activities according to ISO requirements and FDA regulations.
Leads the improvement, development, implementation, and training of the plant QMS and collaborates with internal and external parties.
Leads supplier quality management and issues actively.
Tracks and evaluates supplier performance against agreed‑upon quality standards, delivery timelines, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
Analyzes data, identifies trends, and develops solutions to address supplier quality and performance issues to ensure suppliers adhere to quality standards and regulations.
Sustains the overall quality system within the organization by implementing quality control procedures and conducting audits to find deficiencies or issues.
Influences the development of the plant quality culture by applying critical thinking/decision making and root cause problem solving.
Provides support for external and internal audits including regulatory agencies.
What makes you a good fit
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (Chemistry, Engineering, or related sciences).
Experience in supplier quality management, quality management systems, and familiarity with industry standards like ISO 9001, cGMPs and 21 CFR Parts 210 & 211.
Demonstrated knowledge of FDA Regulations and Hygienic practices.
5–10 years of Quality System experience in a regulated industry preferred.
Demonstrated ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts, understand statistics, and coach others on statistical process control application. Experience in statistical analysis quality and process control preferred.
Demonstrated influential leadership skills and the ability to lead across a large organization.
Detail oriented and possess good follow‑up skills.
Demonstrated capability to use problem‑solving tools for difficult problems from root cause analysis to effective corrective action implementation through completion.
Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes (making, blending, packing, warehousing, etc.).

Salary:
$90,000.00 – $120,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
