Overview The role focuses on the installation and maintenance of electronic security systems, preventative maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory management across large‑scale projects.

Responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance requirements, performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.

Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.

Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and safety audits.

Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.

Programming and installation of head‑end equipment for access control, intrusion detection and CCTV systems.

Troubleshooting and isolating systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.

Lead the on‑site software commissioning and testing.

Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory; performing take‑off project drawings and creation tasks.

Document and track RFIs.

Design assist and feedback.

Document daily reports and project progress.

Communicate project and team member issues/concerns to management.

Create and manage project schedule integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.

Forecast and manage project labor hours; communicate effectively with supervisors and subordinates.

Guide and mentor technicians.

Qualifications Key Requirements

Requires a valid driver’s license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.

Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy.

Education

HS diploma or GED; military electronics training (minimum 720 classroom hours). OR graduation from an accredited electronics technician program OR electrical apprenticeship program.

Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.

Required Progressive Experience

8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.

3 years of the above experience focused in electronic security systems.

Strong oral, written and presentation skills.

Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.

Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills is a plus.

Must be able to travel 50%.

Desired / Advantageous Qualifications

Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems, Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems).

Abilities

The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Ability to relocate a 12‑foot stepladder without assistance.

Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.

Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.

Possesses good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.

May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.

Can tell when something is wrong or likely to go wrong, recognizing problems without necessarily solving them.

Applies general rules to specific problems to produce sensible answers.

Combines pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions, including finding relationships among seemingly unrelated events.

Sees details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

Pay Range USD $36.00 - $60.00 per hour.
