Senior Delivery Manager - STEM Recruitment (US Power, LNG & Chemicals Division) Airswift is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work in Houston, TX for an initial 12-month contract with a top tier energy company.

Job Description The Electrical Engineer will oversee and manage the electrical and controls design of expansion and maintenance capital projects executed by third party engineering firms to ensure compliance with Company standards and specifications and industry standards and managed to the project budget and schedule.

In addition to that, they'll serve as liaison with other functional groups within Project Execution, Operations and Shared Services to ensure project and company requirements are achieved and incorporated into the design deliverables.

Specific Accountabilities

Experience in the design of large horsepower (10,000 to 30,000 HP) turbine and electrical motor driven centrifugal compressor stations, and experience in industrial systems and Hazardous Classified Areas meeting NEC requirements.

Responsible for the successful operations of the assigned area with significant corporate financial impact.

Oversee the development and/or implementation of technical solutions, ensuring efficient coordination of technical resources and with other internal and external stakeholders.

Provide informal leadership to peers.

Knowledge and Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

7 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering and project management.

Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Knowledge of 120/208 volt systems including lighting panels, lighting, convenience outlets.

Knowledge of 480 volt systems including motor controls centers/motor starters, motors, power panels, transformers, auto transfer switches and generators.

Knowledge of 4160 volt systems including switchgear, motor starters, synchronous motors, circuit breakers, relaying, metering.

Knowledge of Allen-Bradley or equivalent PLC base controls systems including Wonderware based operator interface and communication between multiple PLC based systems.

Knowledge of Motor controls circuits.

Knowledge of Valve actuators electric and pneumatic.

Knowledge of PID loop controllers.

Knowledge of Smart and analog transmitters including Rosemount and Honeywell.

Knowledge of Pneumatic gauges.

Knowledge ofPressure, differential pressure and temperature transmitters.

Knowledge of Level gauges & transmitters.

Knowledge of RTDs and thermocouples, thermowells.

Knowledge of Flame and gas detector systems.

Preferred Requirements

Experience withing Midstream/Pipeline/Compressor Stations.
