Overview
Strategic Analyst, Endoscopy role at Boston Scientific. Join us to leverage data-driven insights to drive forecasting and modeling accuracy, and shape how the Endoscopy division utilizes internal and external data for analytics and decision‑making.
Location US‑MA‑Marlborough
Work model, sponsorship, relocation Hybrid – require in‑office presence at least three days per week. No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Leverage internal data to develop dashboards that inform stakeholders of appropriate baselines and thresholds for modeling.
Partner with cross‑functional data owners to validate and enhance data integrity.
Identify and integrate external data sources to provide broader context and improve decision‑making.
Build structured data tables to support efficient usage and reporting; identify primary keys for linking data sources.
Establish processes and metrics to track and improve model accuracy over time, including sensitivity analysis of assumptions.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to integrate new programs into the dataset as they are launched.
Continuously refine tools and solutions based on stakeholder feedback.
Centralize approved financial models into a unified data repository to improve transparency and analytic efficiency.
Expand the role organically to meet evolving internal stakeholder needs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a data‑related or business‑related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analytics, strategy, marketing, PMO, or R&D.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a continuous learning orientation.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional environments and understand various stakeholder perspectives.
Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting.
Creative, adaptable, and solution‑oriented team player.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in data or business analytics.
Experience with Python, VBA, or other programming/machine learning languages.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
Familiarity with R&D, marketing, or strategic program processes.
Salary Minimum: $72,800 | Maximum: $138,300
