In the PHP Software Developer role, you will take part in all stages of the web development life cycle and work within a team in a dynamic, fast‑paced, fun, challenging and creative environment to achieve team‑oriented goals.
What you’ll be doing
Develop, implement and maintain object‑oriented back‑end applications with PHP.
Assist in production and launching of applications.
Perform code review and suggest recommendations.
Analyze processes in order to provide solutions.
What you’ll need to be successful Must haves
3+ years related work experience as a backend software developer.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant work experience.
Strong understanding of MySQL.
Excellent knowledge of web technologies in PHP and database technologies.
Experience with various web‑related technologies such as caching, message queues, Docker, Composer Packages, etc.
Experience in an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies an asset.
HTML/JS/CSS knowledge foundation.
Nice-to-haves
Experience in dealing with large scale websites an asset.
Excellent knowledge of Laravel framework.
Knowledge of UNIX, and Nginx an asset.
Experience with various web‑related technologies such as Redis, Elasticsearch.
