As a data analytics group manager at Citi US Personal Banking customer data organization, you will lead and manage a team of product focused data engineers, modernize data platforms, and serve as a subject matter expert for key transactional data domains.
Qualifications
Strong data engineering and technology background; ability to quickly learn and adapt.
Strong stakeholder management experience with excellent communication skills to negotiate internally and externally.
Hands‑on style of working with an inquisitive mindset.

Extensive experience managing geographically dispersed teams including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations, and budget approval.
At least 10 to 15 years’ experience in software or data engineering space.
At least 5 years’ experience with data lake infrastructure, data warehousing and data pipelines design (Hadoop, Spark, Python, Scala).
At least 3 years’ experience in data governance platforms, data standardization, and data modeling.
At least 3 years’ experience with all aspects of DevOps (source control, CI/CD, etc.).
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
Experience building data pipelines and applications in public cloud (AWS, Snowflake) is strongly preferred.
Experience building marketing data platforms (CDP, marketing data marts, identity resolution applications) is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of product focused data engineers.
Lead efforts to modernize our existing data platforms.
Serve as the subject matter expert for one or more transactional/functional data domains within Citi US Personal Banking business.
Partner with product owners, architects and other peer technology teams to drive the implementation of data products.
Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence with approved patterns and standards.
Work within an Agile team structure to design, develop and deliver technical solutions.
Present technology roadmaps to technology leadership.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and by supervising the activity of others with accountability.
Education
Bachelor’s or University degree, or equivalent experience; Masters degree is a plus.
Location & Compensation
Primary location: Irving, Texas, United States.
Full‑time.
Salary range: $156,160.00 – $234,240.00 with additional incentives and benefits.
