Overview Elk's Country Club is located in Columbus Nebraska and is an 18 hole semi private golf club. Club members and their families take great pride in their facility and well-known course. The club offers many programs, events, live entertainment, junior golf, men's and women's leagues, social gatherings throughout the year, and even a few by the swimming pool. The Elk's Country Club lies on a beautiful country side North of town. A golf membership includes the use of our first-class practice facilities, the use of the swimming pool, clubhouse and restaurant and service from a professional staff. The community of Columbus is ever growing, very successful and a wonderful and safe place to raise a family.

Experience Required PGA Member, Registered Associate, or Individual with experience in the golf industry who desires to become a member of the PGA of America.

Experience in a private country club setting preferred, not required

POS system and tournament software knowledge

Essential Responsibilities

Assist Head Golf Professional with running all major club tournaments.

Assist Head Golf Professional with all responsibilities included within our high-end merchandising operation (able to place, process and complete Special Orders for Members).

Assist Head Professional with the direction of Outside Golf Service staff in the execution of all daily golf operations tasks and duties. Asst professional will be handed the majority of the responsibilities of managing the outside service staff

Manage daily play with up to 100 daily rounds.

Provide customer service to Elks Country Club standard levels.

Proficiency with ForeUp point of sale (or similar), Golf Genius, & Microsoft Office.

Possess a strong understanding of and promote the Club's wide range of activities and services.

Being accessible to provide continuous improvement initiatives and training and coaching as needed to all support staff.

Pursue continuing education opportunities to ensure professional growth.

Assist in all aspects of the daily Golf Operations including but not limited to starting, rangering, instructing clinics, and individual private lessons as well as coordination of Elks Country Club Junior Golf Programs.

Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional appearance.

Salary Commensurate with experience

100% of all Private Lesson Revenue (lesson rate will be made by collaborating with the ECC)

Clinics (Women's and Juniors), possible PGA Jr. League

Year end bonus potential per review

PGA Certification Allowance of $1,000/yr.

$300/yr. Clothing Allowance

Staff Agreement with major golf club manufacturer

100% of PGA Dues Paid (if full member)

Insurance stipend

50% off of meals (while on duty)

Monday Pro-Am entry fee covered (encouraged to play competitively when possible)
