Systems Software Analyst
to support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital part of the Missile Defense System. It provides a key operational platform that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to plan missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission goals. C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability, connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations worldwide and locally to improve overall performance. It is a crucial component of all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities. Responsibilities
As a Senior Principal Systems Software Analyst, you will deliver advanced analysis solutions to support missile defense and space operations. Specifically, you will: Conduct technical analysis of real-world data related to
Missile Defense
and
Space Domain Awareness Develop, implement, and refine
complex algorithms
to analyze large-scale simulation and real-world data sets Work within an Agile Scrum team to design and complete tasks tied to program objectives Proactively interpret data to support features, designs, and estimated future states of
ballistic missile threats
or systems Update and improve existing operational algorithms based on emerging or new datasets Utilize knowledge of defense systems to develop insights into missile defense concepts and
Battle Management/Command and Control (BM/C2)
protocols Coordinate with stakeholders and represent the organization during customer engagements, providing technical expertise and insights when required Team Requirements
Mission-Driven Professional : Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world Bachelor’s Degree in a
STEM
technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.) from an accredited university is preferred, with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree ( preferred ) in a
STEM
field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD with 4 years of relevant work experience Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
is required at the start of employment. Candidates without the necessary clearance will not be considered Technical skills for predictive analysis of ballistic missile threats and similar systems
are required Analysis and performance characterization of
large-scale, complex system simulations , particularly in the areas of
ballistic missile defense ,
weapon systems , and
command and control systems Experience with
MATLAB
for handling large data arrays and system logic validation Proficiency in
Unix/Linux environments
and
Agile Scrum
methodologies Understanding of
missile defense elements , including C2BMC, AN/TPY-2, LRDR, BOA, SBIRS, GMB, Aegis BMD, PATRIOT, or related concepts Team Preferences
Master's Degree

The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, education, and experience for the position level.
