They have extensive depth of knowledge about our scratch‑made food and drink, can tour guide guests through our menus with ease, and are integral to creating a welcoming, clean, and relaxed experience for our guests. Our Bartenders become experts in our service, our operations, our brand, and our company and are often promoted to bartending or leadership roles.
Hourly Pay: $4 + Tip Pool

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE A BARTENDER:
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting and use of hands and arms
1 year experience working in full or quick service dining required
Must be 18 years old due to service of alcohol
WHAT BARTENDER TRAINING TASKS MAY INCLUDE:
Complete TIPS training prior to training behind the bar
Complete FRG Bartender training program with certified bar trainers
Pass daily recipe tests in order to progress
Pass AM service bar practical which includes creating 6 non‑alcoholic beverages in 10 minutes or less, among other benchmarks
Work AM Service bar shifts until certified to next level of the bar through practical
WHAT BARTENDER TASKS MAY INCLUDE:
Assist in taking orders from guests for food or beverages
Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
Collect payments from customers
Ring accurate guest checks/Sales using POS system
Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning
Serve food or beverages to patrons and serve specialty dishes at bar or tables as required
Assist in Cleaning of tables or counters after patrons have finished dining
Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
Assist host by greeting, seating, and thanking guests
Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, tidying up station, taking out trash
Inform customers of daily specials
Prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks for patrons, and chill bottles of wine
Stock bar with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens, fresh syrups, juices, ice, and other necessary items to perform a shift
Are punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
Contribute to a positive team environment
Describe and recommend wines to customers
Provide guests with information about local areas, including giving directions
