Join our team at McNeilus Trucks and Manufacturing, an Oshkosh Corporation company, as a Senior Accountant. In this key role, you will provide accounting and financial support across our organization, partnering with Finance, FP&A, and other departments to deliver accurate financial results and ensure compliance with corporate policies. You’ll play an integral role in the monthly close process, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting while helping drive continuous improvement in our financial systems and processes.
YOUR IMPACT
Lead and execute monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP and Oshkosh Corporate Accounting Policies (CAPP).
Analyze and prepare monthly results for management, partnering with other departments to address business issues and financial impacts.
Reconcile, research, and resolve discrepancies within balance sheet accounts.
Support internal and external audits, capital budgeting, tax compliance, and intercompany settlements.
Maintain and enhance internal control procedures, including Sarbanes-Oxley documentation.
Participate in business systems improvements and ensure the effectiveness of financial processes.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Four (4) or more years of related accounting or treasury experience.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Standout Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
Experience in public accounting or auditing.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with U.S. accounting standards and regulations.
Pay Range $82,000.00 - $132,800.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
