ARSIEM is looking for a motivated
AI/ML Prototype Developer
to capture requirements, create innovative prototypes, deploy solutions to evaluate and tune machine‑learning models, and integrate, reference, make inferences, and consolidate data into a holistic view. This position will support one of our government clients in Fort Meade, MD.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with customers to enable acceleration to evaluate and tune machine‑learning models' abilities to integrate, reference, make inferences and consolidate data into a holistic view.
Write and evolve prototype techniques leveraging diverse architecture and methods.
Provide database administration, dataflow engineering, data wrangling, and model development.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 8‑years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Proficiency with, but not limited to, Python (i.e. SciKit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), R, GIT and experience with Jupyter Notebooks.
Ability to provide database administration for relational databases and TensorFlow.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in augmenting, providing context, and/or fine‑tuning large language models for generative tasks using approaches such as but not limited to, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and model context protocol (MCP).
$191,000 - $214,000 a year
The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other laws.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
Candidate Referral: You have the opportunity to earn a $10,000 bonus if you refer a new candidate who is successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches six months of employment.
