Part‑Time Adult Instructor – Plumbing Technician
The Nassau BOCES Adult Career and Technical Education program provides industry‑aligned career training to empower adults by assisting them with acquiring the employable skills necessary to assimilate into the 21st‑century workforce. The Adult Career and Technical Education program is seeking a part‑time instructor to teach adults in our Adult Evening Plumbing Technician Program. Courses include Plumbing I, II & III: lessons in plumbing in residential and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
Teach Adult Evening Plumbing Technician courses (Plumbing I, II & III) to adult learners.
Conduct classes two nights per week, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Develop instructional materials and lesson plans.
Assess student progress and provide feedback.
Requirements
Industry related experience in plumbing.
Previous teaching experience preferred.
Compensation
Salary as per Nassau BOCES Uniform Compensation Schedule.
